The aim of our Maths curriculum is for children to be confident in all aspects of maths, with the ability to choose from a variety of skills to solve problems and be highly skilled in using basic number facts.
Maths No Problem
From September 2021, we have been following the ‘Maths No Problem’ curriculum from Reception to Year 6. The progamme, which is based on Singapore Maths, follows the spiral approach which builds pupils’ depth of understanding and mathematical fluency without the need
for rote learning.
Learning is presented in small-step, logical sequences with clear lines of progression.
