5.11.11 -Quiz Night at School, Friday 18th November, 7pm- Come and join in a brill evening!

Every year the Friends host a fun Quiz Evening and everybody who has attended the last few have had a brill time. You don't have to have a ready made team but you can come as a team if you wish. There will be music, a fab buffet, nibbles, a fun Quiz and even a even a quiz round especially for the children. Come and join in on a fun night out!

18.10.11 -Mathletics.....Maths is really FUN !

This term we are introducing a brand new Maths activity to the children. It is called Mathletics and it is an online based activity. Children have their own log on, complete challenges, earn credits and points and can compete against other children in our school, across the country and even across the world. This term, children in Years 4,5 and 6 will be receiving their log in details, which they can bring home and practise their Maths at any time! Feedback so far from the children has been fantastic.

18.10.11 -ICT Mobile Technology Trial

After earning the National BECTA ICT Award last year, our next big improvement is to develop our mobile technology capabilities. With this in mind, we are currently using some Q1 machines. The Year 5 children have been combining the use of this mobile technology with their Maths work online. Click Here

Thank you to everyone who sent in Sainsbury's vouchers. Using these we have been able to procure lots of extra resources for the children and would like to thank you for your support. We will be collecting vouchers again next year and would very much appreciate your valuable help again.

As you may be aware, we have undergone a major rebuild of our school website over the holidays. We have changed the software we use to the most up-to-date software which will give our website an improved look and performace.

As a result, our website is only partly finished, but check back often as we will continually populate pages and sections as the term goes on.
