Dear Parents
I am writing to inform you about this term’s Film Club arrangements.
If your child is new to the school you may like to know that Film Club is open to all of our present pupils and takes place on the last Friday of most months at 6-8pm. The club is free of charge. Our Film Club consists of children coming along to the school and watching a movie in our school hall. We provide them with a drink and a packet of crisps. The children will not need to bring any money and should not bring their own food/snacks/drinks.
The intention of the Film Club is to give the children an opportunity to socialise with their friends in a safe setting and have a fun evening out. The children are well supervised by teaching staff and members of The Friends, therefore there is no need for parents to stay to look after their own children. If you are intereseted in helping out at Film Club, please indicate on the booking form.
Through the Extended Services we have joined ‘FilmClub’ which is an organisation specialising in providing schools with films to show to children at school. Although we are restricted to the films provided for us, we will always offer movies which are appropriate for children at our school.

Friday 21st October, 6-8pm, Happy Feet (U)
Friday 25th November, 6-8pm, The Golden Compass (PG)
Please return the attached form if you would like your child to attend any or all of the films. Only children with returned forms will be allowed to attend.
