A Typical Timetable

Every class has a slightly different timetable currently due to staggered start and finish times and different playtimes/lunchtimes, however an example timetable for Year 1-6 is given below.

Example time Lesson
8:55am-9:10am Time to Talk/Reading – all children have an opportunity to read as soon as they enter school.
9:10am – 10:10am Lesson 1 – Reading – every class has a reading lesson every day
10:10am – 10:30am Lesson 2 – this will be either Writing or Maths
10:30am-10:45am Outside breaktime
10:45am – 12:00pm Lesson 2 continued
12:00pm – 12:30pm Basic Skills Lesson – see below for details
12:30pm-1:20pm Lunchtime and outside break
1:20pm – 1:35pm Assembly/Time to Talk
1:35pm – 3:25pm Lesson 3 – Science, History, Geography, PE, PSHCE, RE, or Computing

Time to Talk – each class has several points during the day for the children to talk as a class about anything concerning them, sharing news, or discussing topical events.

Basic Skills – these sessions cover topics such as spelling, times tables, arithmetic and handwriting.

Assembly – at the moment assemblies are all online due to restrictions around children from other Bubbles mixing together in one area. 

Art and DT – these subjects are blocked and taught over a period of two full days. Art is taught each half term, and DT taught termly.
